Diagnose common detection issues involving playback, streaming formats, page context, and protected media.

An extension can only show media it can observe and access in the current browser context. A missing card may be a timing or format issue, a restriction from the website, or protected content.
Some pages do not request video data until playback starts. Play the intended clip for a few seconds, wait for its media requests, then reopen or refresh the extension panel. Keep the original tab active and avoid closing the player while checking.
HLS and DASH are delivered as playlists or manifests plus media segments, sometimes with separate audio and video. A browser may also use Media Source Extensions to assemble fetched data for playback. In those cases, the page may not expose one simple MP4 link.
Make sure the extension is enabled on the source website and that you opened the correct page, rather than an embedded preview or a new tab without the player. Media URLs can expire or require the same session, so return to the page and start playback again before retrying.
DRM-protected streams, account restrictions, and site policies can block access. An extension should not bypass those controls. If the video remains missing, use the website's official offline option or contact its support; only save content you are authorized to keep.
Only download content you own or have permission to save. Support depends on the website and media format; DRM-protected content is not supported.
