Select a candidate in Stream Katcher and compare its preview with the channel content. The walkthrough inspects playback details marked HLS. A short captured item can be distinct from the full live broadcast, so confirm the scope of the media before saving it.
Start the download for the item you have checked and wait for the job to complete. In the demonstration, the browser-based download finishes and the saved Twitch.mp4 appears in the extension. Keep the source session open while the request is active.
Play the saved file and verify that its duration and content match what you intended to keep. Live streams can change continuously, and an available segment or preview is not necessarily a complete replay. Results vary by source and media access.
